Mind-Body Exercises

Unite movement, breath, and awareness through slow, repeatable forms like Qigong and Tai Chi.

Movement with attention on it

Qigong and Tai Chi are slow, repeatable forms that put breath, movement, and attention on the same track. The forms are simple enough to learn in a few sessions and deep enough that people practice them for decades.

Qigong works with what the tradition calls the Three Treasures: Jing, Qi, and Shen. In practice that means building a base, moving energy through it, and settling the mind on top.

What the practice is for

Steadier balance, easier movement in the joints, and a longer gap between a stressful input and your reaction to it. Those are what the forms work toward, not results anyone can promise.

Starting

Start with ten minutes a day. The forms are built on repetition, so a short daily session is the place to begin.
